A single vertical arch bridge will cross over the Belt Parkway and adjacent bicycle path. The new bridge will incorporate higher clearances and ADA-accessible ramps. The bridge is transparent, elegant, and visible from a distance, creating a new gateway over the busy parkway. Railings and protective fences are designed with sensitivity to the landscape and to preserve views of the adjacent waterfront and Verrazzano-Narrows suspension bridge.
