The proposed pedestrian and bicycle bridge connecting downtown Cleveland’s malls to the lakefront will be a signature bridge of important and dramatic architecture that will include a steel main cable-stayed span over several railroad and highway lanes owned by NS and CSX railroads, Amtrak, GCRTA, and ODOT. The elegant bridge follows a sweeping curvilinear alignment in plan that preserves views of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in the context of the lakefront. The bridge is expected to become a new symbol of the city.
