The Grand Connection, a curved cable-stayed bridge spanning the Grand River in Grand Rapids, Michigan, will unite the city and its river, benefiting all users by connecting east and west, linking neighborhoods with downtown attractions such as the adjacent Acrisure Amphitheater, and enhancing accessibility along the shoreline. The new bridge will establish a continuous greenway trail, facilitating interaction among residents. It will feature an iconic V-shaped tower that visually complements the structural expression of the amphitheater, creating a cohesive visual ensemble.
