Back stay cables will be used to open the bridge on a regular basis during certain times of the year. The new link will complete a walking loop along the waterfront, helping to invigorate the area and providing a secondary access to the adjacent park. This new sculptural bridge will become a visually compelling addition to the cityscape, marking its location from a distance.
