The St. Patrick’s Island Bridge will be an elegant curved structure that will gracefully cross the Bow River. The pedestrian bridge provides a link to both the north and south banks of the river as well as access to St. Patrick’s Island. The unique and elegant structure consists of two arched steel towers that are reminiscent of the wings of a bird in flight. The bridge has a single point of support on the island that marks its location from a distance. The bridge is poised to become a new symbol of the area.
